L'OREAL l'orange

Hi!
How have you all been doing lately? What have you planned for this wonderful summer season - or whichever season it is in your area ;)

I'm planning to get back into the world as an employed person... lol. I have to start working again, and as much as I don't want to have a sitter take care of my baby, I don't really have a choice. Boo.

Enough sad stuff. Tonight, I have a little bit of a citrusy, yummy nail color that I want to share with you. It's perfect for summer and spring, or even if you want to brighten up your fall and winter seasons too!

It's a beautiful, creamy, orange shade with a tendency to be more red in darker settings and more yellow in brighter settings. Sometimes I feel like I dipped my fingers in orange highlighters, if that makes sense.

The formula is a pretty medium consistency requiring 2 coats to achieve this opaque look that I've got going on. It wasn't gloopy or anything like that for me. I'd say it's an ideal consistency to work with.

I'm not normally a brights person, but I was daring enough, and I love it. I've been venturing out into brighter polishes recently (my previous nail post consisted of a lime green!). I like this adventurous side of me.

What colors are you loving lately? Would you wear this yummy orange on your pretty little nails?

Just Say Yes. Inspired by Zoella

Hi!
I recently uploaded a video on my YT channel about how I live and deal with my anxiety. Everyone gets anxious and anxiety can be healthy. Excessive anxiety, however, can keep someone from living their life to its full potential. That's me. How many of you are out there? I've seen a pattern of those of us who find it much easier to express ourselves through the internet are the ones who tend to suffer with anxieties. It's not a fact or 100% or anything. It's just something that I've noticed in my time blogging for the past year or so.

I know I'm not alone, because I like to read up on anxiety, and I've come across a few videos about people talking about their anxiety, how it's affected them, and how they're trying to overcome it.

These people are so inspiring, and I do want to name one person in particular.
#1 is Zoe from Zoella. She's the reason I was able to sum up the guts to start my Youtube channel. Her new motto "Just say yes" is something that really hits us with anxiety. We're so used to saying no, staying in our comfort zones, not really living. If we said YES more, we'd be able to experience more things and appreciate our lives and the beauty of it that much more.
I made this bracelet to remind me of Zoe's message and her determination. I want the same for myself.

So, I want to share with you, my video. If I can reach out to just one person, that would mean everything to me.

Please let me know what you think. And if you need someone, my heart goes out to you - feel free to message me :)

Blue, Green, and a Little Sparkle

Hi!
It's time for some nails of the week! I haven't done anything to my nails since my last post - for shame! Lol, but I did do a little mani last night, since I had time while everyone was asleep. I used a couple of my new polishes that I purchased recently, and I'll probably review them individually soon. :)

I used this lovely combination of polishes - a blue, green, and a little sparkle to spice it up. The blue is L'Oreal's "Jet Set to Paris", and I'm in love with it, then again, I am partial to blues. The lime/neon green color is from Maybelline's Color Show in "Go Go Green". It's my first EVER neon/bright polish, and I'm really liking it surprisingly. The sparkly, flaky polish is by Nubar and it's called "G188" I think... I couldn't find a name on the bottle, so I assume that is what it's called.

Here is my little mani.

I love how the flakies pick up the light and add a little bit of something extra to the polishes. Not that they aren't great colors, but I like the extra punch.

Have you tried any of these polishes? What are you wearing on your nails lately?
