Top 10 Best Beauty Buys

Happy Monday, everyone! Well, it's now Tuesday, so the week is going by quickly already, yes! Anyway, I was tagged by the lovely ladies over at 20/30 GLAM to do this post on my Best Beauty Buys. I was confused as to what the tag was asking for, but I understand it to be the 10 best beauty products that are worth the money in my opinion, of course. If I interpreted that wrong...oops. That's what I have for you though, so let's just go with it ;).

The Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Oil Free is my holy grail primer. I get mine at Macy's for $32 a tube. I know. But it lasts quite a while. This is my first tube, purchased a few months ago, and there's still a lot of product left. I apply this after sunscreen and  moisturizer, and it helps my makeup to last all day in the heat and humidity.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is amazing. It's a full coverage foundation that sinks into the skin and lasts all day long. I set it with a powder, and I am oil free, and flawless the whole day. I also get this at Macy's for $37.00.

The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush is my favorite brush. Ever. It applies my foundation seamlessly, and there is no shedding of hairs at all. I like to use this brush for application and blending, and then blend a little more with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. The Expert Face Brush retails at Ulta for $8.99, and the Buffing Brush comes as a set in the Core Collection for $17.99 for four (4) brushes.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer is one of the best concealers I have ever used. It's light yet buildable, hydrating, and leaves a soft glow behind. I set it with powder, and it stays in place, right where it belongs. I pick these up at Kmart whenever they're in stock for around $6.49. You can check your local drugstores for even better deals.

Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush is technically an eyeshadow brush, but it's amazing at blending out concealer under the eyes and over any spots. This is my second favorite brush ever. This comes in the Real Techniques Starter Set for $17.99.

The Original Urban Decay Primer Potion has been my go-to primer for ages. It really helps my eye makeup to stay put, even through naps. Bad, I know, but it works. There are different sizes, but I like this larger size, because it comes in a squeeze tube and not one of those genie bottle ones that have so little product in them. These go for $20.00 at Ulta.

I always curl my eyelashes with my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. I really need to get a new one, because as you can see, the rubber strip is red, and it should not be. I used a Revlon strip, but shhh don't tell. These go for various prices depending on where you go, but on the brand's website, they sell for $20.00.

One of the only mascaras that ever does anything for my lashes is Maybelline One by One VolumExpress Waterproof. This stuff locks in the curl, lengthens and separates, and thickens when layered. You can check out my review here. Ulta sells it for $7.99, but there's currently a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off. :)

My Urban Decay Naked Palette is well-loved as you can see. I absolutely LOVE this palette. It has the most gorgeous neutral colors, and it suits anyone. The investment is so worth it when you consider that you get twelve (12) amazing eyeshadows in one palette, and you can pretty much use this everyday and do anything with it. If you haven't already, you can grab one for $50.00 at Ulta, Macy's, Sephora, or wherever sells Urban Decay products.

Rimmel Lasting Matte Finish Lipsticks by Kate Moss have a gorgeous color selection ranging from nudes to pinks to reds. Anyone can find a favorite. It smells really good, if you like sweet scents, and it lasts around 4-5 hours with no eating on me. I have the shade 103, and it's a beautiful neutral pink tone that is perfect for any occasion. The prices range dramatically from $3.99 to $8.49, so have a look around for the best prices. You can usually find them in your local drugstores.

So there you have my Top 10 Best Beauty Buys. I tag everyone who wants to do this too ;).
