BUSY BUSY BUSY! Life has been so crazy lately, but first, let's share some of the things I've been loving!
BEAUTY FAVORITES
MAC Lustre Lipstick in Plumful is the perfect "my lips but better" shade, and the lustre finish is my favorite MAC lipstick finish.
ELF Mineral Face Primers in Brightening Lavender and Tone Adjusting Green don't do much in terms of their different colors, but they do make great simple primers. They sit well underneath makeup and help it to last longer.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Spot Concealer in Fair helps me cover up my freckles and dark under eye circles as well as dulling the look of my acne and scarring. Not a fan of the applicator, but the formula is really nice and light.
Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray is a great pick me up refreshing spray. I use it to set my makeup, and it gives a nice boost to my skin as well.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge helps apply my makeup really nicely, leaving a smooth, even, light finish. I probably won't try the Beauty Blender, since this works really well.
Makeup Revolution 32 Eye Shadow Palette in Flawless is the perfect neutral palette for a really affordable price. This palette has everything from pale base shades to black, with finishes ranging from matte to satin to shimmer.
Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift in Cara D has a thick triangular shaped pencil that I prefer to tiny nibs, since I prefer to fill in my brows rather than draw individual hairs. The shade matches my dark brows and my dark hair perfectly without looking unnatural. It's pricey, but I love it.
Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy is such a refreshing scent. I've used up a sample, and while I won't be purchasing a full size just yet, I will miss it!
RANDOM FAVORITES
Forever (TV Show) is about a medical examiner who is 200+ years old and trying to figure out why he can't die. That's all I'll say, since I hate spoilers! It's such an interesting series!
Filofax Saffiano Organizer in Poppy keeps my chaotic life organized. I write down everything, and it gives me peace of mind to have some part of my life in check, ha!
LIFE UPDATES!
We're moving to California (near the Anaheim area)! I know I mentioned previously that we will be moving, but that date has been moved up crazily to February. We have less than three months to get everything in order and purge our belongings since we can't take it all over thousands of miles. I'll keep you guys posted, if you would like. So that's pretty much why it's been so quiet around here. I'm internally panicking that we don't have enough time, but I'm sure we will. It will be quite the adventure, though!
