MAKEUP REVOLUTION ULTRA 32 SHADE EYESHADOW PALETTE - FLAWLESS
Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette - FLAWLESS. I am a self-professed eyeshadow palette addict. There's just something about a nice neutral eyeshadow palette that gives me satisfaction. While I've talked about Makeup Revolution a few times, I mostly raved about their lip products, which are amazing by the way. Their eyeshadows are pretty darn good too! I wasn't sure which eyeshadows I wanted to try so I opted for one of the big palettes. The FLAWLESS. If you're looking for a wide range of neutral shades, this palette is your friend. At $13.19 for 32 pigmented shadows, you're getting a really good deal.

The quality of these eyeshadows are excellent if you're on a budget and even if you're not. Some shades are more powdery than others but apply really nicely. MAKEUP REVOLUTION #LIPHUG LIPSTICK SWATCHES & REVIEW
Makeup Revolution #LIPHUG Lipsticks. I've received quite a few requests for swatches on these new lipsticks by Makeup Revolution, and while it has taken me a while, I finally made time to film a swatch video for you guys along with arm swatches too.
#LIPHUG Lipsticks ($3.95) are a new line of lipsticks from Makeup Revolution, a UK based cosmetic company. They are essentially a drugstore brand with affordable prices, even by US standards. The formulations of the lipsticks I've purchased (20+) are outstanding. The formula is creamy and applies smoothly, feeling almost like a lip balm with the pigmentation of a lipstick. If you're looking for amazing quality, budget-friendly makeup, check these guys out. I'll bet you can't buy just one (creepy smile in photo below).

HOW I CLEAN MY MAKEUP BRUSHES
How I clean my makeup brushes. Dirty brushes everywhere! The dreaded task of cleaning makeup brushes doesn't have to be such a chore. I actually find it quite relaxing. I play some music or watch some of my favorite Youtubers while I wash a way the dirt and grime of old makeup. My method is quite simple and effective in cleaning and disinfecting my brushes.
HOW I CLEAN MAKEUP BRUSHES
PRODUCTS NEEDED
Water
Rubbing alcohol
Distilled white vinegar
Baby shampoo or dishwashing liquid
Clean light colored towel
METHOD
Pour some baby shampoo or dish liquid in a small bowl.
Fill a larger bowl with water.
Add a splash of vinegar and rubbing alcohol into the water.
Dip dirty brush into soap.
Swirl around in water mixture until clean.
Squeeze bristles to remove excess water.
Swirl around on clean towel to remove water and speed up dry time.
Lay out to dry.
Change water halfway through if you have a lot of brushes that are really grimy.
NOTES
I use rubbing alcohol and vinegar in my mixture, because I have found that vinegar helps to remove tough dried up liquid makeup more effectively and aids in disinfecting the brushes. Alcohol also helps to disinfect the brushes and also speeds up dry time. I like to change the water after I wash all my face brushes before moving on to clean my eyeshadow and other brushes.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION HAUL & A QUICK UPDATE
Makeup Revolution Beauty Haul. So I went shopping last month for some gifts and ended up buying some things for myself as well, because.... yeah. I'm bad. Makeup Revolution released a new lip line called #liphugs, and since I already love their other lipsticks, I had to pick up a few... or 10. I also threw in some eyeshadow palettes and blush palettes. I purchased several of each palette for gifts, but I'm only going to show you one of each of course.

QUICK LIFE UPDATE:
For those of you who are interested in what's going on with me personally, our move date has moved up quite a bit - we're heading out December 29 to our new home in California. As you can probably tell, my blog and Youtube channel have taken a back seat, but I promise, I will post now and again, even though things are insane right now. Any long distance moving tips will be greatly appreciated! :)
