Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. With the heat and humidity constantly drying out my skin yet prompting it to product more sebum to compensate, I was in need of a really good moisturizer to avoid looking like crepe paper face. Since I have been a fan of Clinique's skin care line for ages, I knew I'd be able to find what I needed. And I did!

Clinique usually has gift sets available during various holiday seasons, and I was lucky enough to be paying attention when this little pot of gold was offered as part of a gift set. I had been wanting to try it out, but wasn't about to shell out the $37 for a tub of it without trying it out first. Anyway, I'm happy I did, because I love it!
Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief is a gel formulation the feels cooling upon application and sinks into the skin quickly without leaving a sticky or tacky feeling behind. The gel formula is perfect for oily skin, because it doesn't make the skin feel any kind of greasy, but it would still work nicely for dry skin as it is very moisturizing. It leaves my face feeling nice and plump the next morning, and I really can't live without it! I've already purchased the Moisture Surge set which includes a face mist and a roller ball for under the eyes, and I'm super excited to use them!
Have you tried anything from the Clinique Moisture Surge line? What's your go-to moisturizer for this hot weather?
